It’s that time of year again, where we dive head first into nostalgia and look back at our time at Agnes Scott, for the 10th year in a row. I know we don’t talk anymore…
Hold up, did I just say 10 YEARS?! As in our 10 year reunion? I know I’m not the only one who just did the mental math, to double check. I mean I feel old, but I’m not that old… young but I’m not that bold…
That’s right Lions, it has been 10 whole years since we turned our rings around and set off into the world to work, chase our wildest dreams, and get lucky. We really started from the bottom… but now we are here!
Either way, I want to know where are you now that I need you?! Please consider joining me and our fellow classmates as we reflect on the days when we were young and stressed out but somehow happy. I miss the random nights when we engaged in bad habits (too much Mollies). So text your roommate back in Boulder the reunion’s getting closer.
Hope there is a blank space on your calendar, as Alumnae Weekend is happening from April 16-17, 2027. More info can be found here: alumnaeweekend.agnesscott.org. Early registration will open on February 1, 2027. Hotel reservation blocks are now open, and can be found here: https://alumnaeweekend.agnesscott.org/lodging
If you haven’t been to Alumnae Weekend before, here are some things to look forward to:
Friday April 16th: A day of back to back events with a wide array of little talks that are all about that base in the form of panels, clubs and major social hours. Additionally you can dust off your roar for Hub sing or grab your suit and tie to attend the GOLD party even if it’s just for one dance.
Saturday April 17th: Now, this is what you came for, I hope there’s no thunder so we can get fancy. A day truly for our class full of cheap thrills, royals, and uptown funk. Not only will there be a parade, a class photo and our class meeting, but also our class party! Just give me a reason NOT to show up (I heard there will be karaoke.)
Mark my words, it will be a night to remember. So don’t be rude! Show up! You can expect updates and more information about specific events on our class Facebook page, or our class officers are just one call away.
If you have questions in the lead-up to Alumnae Weekend, please say something and reach out to our class officers. We will work to get your questions answered or passed on to the correct person. Your current class officers are:
Additionally, as part of our reunion year, we compete side to side with the other reunion classes. All I ask is that you make a donation of any size (even $1.00) to the Fund for Agnes Scott or our current campaign “The Ring Leaders”. It should take no more than four five seconds, but no pressure. If you have any questions about giving, please reach out to our wonderful fund chair.
