It’s hard to believe, but the time has come to start planning our 35th class reunion! Are you excited? We are! Your class officers and Reunion Chairs have been working so hard to make this the best reunion ever! We have some exciting things in store for you, including an off site event, a killer on campus event with a super cool program to boot, a possible after-party on one of the nights, and we’re also working on another update to our class banner! We really want it to shine and to reflect our Blues Brothers spirit! How about now? Can we count on you to join us? We miss your face and that witty personality! I’m talking to you!
We interrupt this message with a word about our Class of 1992 giving!
During our planning session, we also heard a wonderful presentation from the Agnes Scott Development Office, about the new campaign for the Fund for Agnes Scott. One of the things that really caught our attention was its acknowledgment of the Rebel Scottie spirit. And collectively we thought: Of course! That’s exactly who the Blues Brothers are!
So under the fearless and unwavering leadership of Lisa Rogers Wilson and Elizabeth Fraser Washburn – we present you with our own 1992 Ring Leaders Campaign! Your Class Officers have each already pledged at least $43 a month toward a Reunion gift of $1,992, and continuing on for at least one year. And, we’re challenging every classmate to join us!
Our challenge is simple: give $43 a month for one year—or more—and help our class reach our ultimate goal of $19,920! Remember every gift counts and will help us achieve our highest class participation yet!
I don’t know about you, but that number feels just right for The Blues Brothers: a little bit of 1992 spirit, a little bit of Rebel Scottie, and a whole lot of class pride. Every gift makes a difference for Agnes Scott and the generations of Scotties to come!

Now back to our regularly scheduled program: I know I speak for all your class leaders when I say, We simply cannot wait until April when we can all be together again! Please mark your calendars, and we sincerely hope you’ll make the decision to join us! Please be on the look out for more information from the Alumnae Office, for upcoming details, including Early Bird Registration! Registering early will help us to plan better and build enthusiasm. Your class officers and Reunion Chairs will also be communicating with you via our 1992 Blues Brothers Facebook and Instagram pages, where we will update you with important details and maybe a teaser or two! We also want to provide you with opportunities to give us your valuable input!
