It’s hard to believe that our 60th reunion is right around the corner!  April 16-17, 2027 is the date, and I’m SO looking forward to seeing as many of our ‘67 classmates as possible.  I’m looking back over our memories and am reminded we met in June 2022 because the Covid pandemic had not yet ended.

Lots of exciting changes have happened at Agnes Scott.  President Zak, our greatest cheerleader, is always happy to report ASC’s recognition: we are rated #1 in innovation for 8 years, #2 in first year experience, #4 in social mobility, #8 in teaching and #2 in Princeton Review for making an impact for students.

We like experiential learning! Our Summit Program: spring journeys for all first year students and workplace experience (with our 25 partner organizations) for all second year students, is continuing to attract attention and attract undergraduate and graduate students.  

Our graduate programs in Communication, Counseling and Medical Science have yielded great return on investment for our students and the community. Ages in our graduate programs range from 20-57!  This year our brand new Physician Assistant program has begun and expectations are high. All of the former Hopkins dorm has been transformed.

A new fundraising campaign has begun named RING LEADERS.  Look for more information from the college.  Our class Fund Chairs, Judy and Betty Anne, will be in touch with you about the Fall Giving Appeal.  

Secretary Avary (avaryd@juno.com) wants all of our help in spreading our class news AND finding “lost” classmates. We really want to hear from you.

We’re putting together a reunion committee with Justice, and welcome help from all— to have a great participation next April. Suggestions are welcome always.
